

Sheila Heti is a Toronto-based author whose work blurs the boundaries between fiction, philosophy, and autobiography. She is the author of eleven books, including How Should a Person Be?, Motherhood, and Pure Colour, which won the 2022 Governor General’s Literary Award for Fiction. Her writing has been translated into more than twenty languages and recognized internationally for its originality and insight. In April, she was named a Guggenheim Fellow in the category of Literature, a recognition of her ongoing impact on contemporary literature.
