The Partnership Award recognizes a SSHRC‑funded formal partnership for its outstanding achievement in advancing research, research training or knowledge mobilization, or developing a new partnership approach to research and/or related activities.

Be Canadian citizens or permanent residents or a “protected person” under subsection 95(2) of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, by the nomination deadline.; Hold or have held SSHRC funding pertinent to the Award.; Maintain affiliation with an eligible institution for the duration of the Impact Award.; Awarded to a formal partnership that, through mutual cooperation and shared intellectual leadership and resources, has demonstrated impact and influence within and/or beyond the social sciences and humanities research community.
SSHRC Nomination Process:
– Institutional nomination process (one-page maximum).
– Institutional nomination letter and rationale (three pages maximum).
– Information supporting the nomination.
– Nominee’s SSHRC CV and disclosure forms, plus CVs of any co-applicants (up to six team members).
– Three letters of support (max 2 pages each) from referees.
