Award Description
The goal of the foundation is to promote scientific research, learning, arts, and culture. This is done by granting awards for outstanding achievements in research and/or development in radio, television and information technology.
Nominator Notes
Recognized experts in the Foundation’s field of work are invited to nominate individuals or groups of up to three persons. Self-nominations are excluded.
Eligibility Details
Outstanding research and/or development achievements, which are fundamental for a field of information technology and have a high impact; Highly innovative, successful in the market or at least with clearly foreseeable market success; Product or at least prototype available; International submissions are welcome.
Award Categories
The Technology Award for radio television and information technology may be split into a basic research award and an award for specific technological developments but the division is not obligatory.
Additional prize details
The amount of the funds available for awards is dependent upon the net proceeds of the preceding business year. The Foundation intends to confer annual awards averaging EURO 50,000.
