The Steacie Prize is named in memory of E.W.R. Steacie, a physical chemist and former President of the National Research Council of Canada, to whom much is owed for the development of science in Canada
Candidates for the prize are nominated by their colleagues.
To a scientist or engineer of 40 years of age or less for outstanding scientific research carried out in Canada.
Nominations should include:
– A description and evaluation of the nominee’s work.
– A curriculum vitae.
– Publication list.
– Letters from independent referees.
