Le prix Steacie a été créé en mémoire du physicochimiste et ancien président du Conseil national de recherches Canada E.W.R. Steacie, qui a grandement contribué au développement des sciences au Canada.
Candidates for the prize are nominated by their colleagues.
To a scientist or engineer of 40 years of age or less for outstanding scientific research carried out in Canada.
Nominations should include:
– A description and evaluation of the nominee’s work.
– A curriculum vitae.
– Publication list.
– Letters from independent referees.
